Training Excellence at Fairline Services
At Fairline Services, our commitment to excellence starts with comprehensive, industry-leading training. All of our training programs are Minnesota Board of Private Detectives and Protective Agents approved, and more than half meet the standards of the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). Our curriculum spans conflict resolution, situational awareness, emergency response, and beyond, ensuring our officers are prepared for diverse security scenarios.
Beyond technical skills, our training emphasizes customer service, trauma-informed care, and professionalism, helping our officers act as effective front-line representatives for our clients, even in high-pressure or sensitive situations.
Training for Unarmed Officers
All unarmed officers complete the following courses:
- 12-Hour Pre-Assignment Training; 6-Hour Annual Renewal
Content: General security overview, business operations, legal authority and liability, communications, ethics, incident assessment, emergency response, administrative rules - 6-Hour AHA Basic Life Saver & POST-Approved Bloodborne Pathogens Course
Content: Adult, child, and infant BLS; AED & bag-mask devices; high-performance teams; local protocols; relief of choking; OSHA bloodborne pathogens; PPE and exposure response - 4-Hour Defensive Tactics Training
- 4-Hour De-escalation Training
- 4-Hour Situational Awareness Training
- 6-Hour Additional Training
Content: Implicit bias and racial inclusiveness, advanced de-escalation techniques
Training for Armed Officers
All armed officers complete the following courses:
- 12-Hour Pre-Assignment Training; 6-Hour Annual Renewal
- 6-Hour Initial Armed Training; Annual Renewal
- 6-Hour Active Shooter Scenario-Based Training; Annual Renewal
- 6-Hour AHA Basic Life Saver & POST-Approved Bloodborne Pathogens Course
- 4-Hour Defensive Tactics Training
- 4-Hour De-escalation Training
- 4-Hour Situational Awareness Training
- 4-Hour Force-on-Force Workplace Violence Training
- 6-Hour Additional Training
Content: Continued armed handgun, Taser, chemical irritant spray, duty holster; implicit bias and racial inclusiveness; de-escalation techniques
